that's about a -13c february average, at 43N that's nuts....

January average here is about 2.5c, if we get a winter month 3c under average (would make under 0c for january then), it is already considered a very cold month; I don't think it has happened more than a few times in the last 50 years, so i can hardly imagine a month that would be 6 or 7c under the monthly mean...

It seems the US have drastic changes from year to year in the winter time, especially compared to anywhere in (Western) Europe.

Here on the baltic coast (German) I like the summers alot.
We have good sunshine like 240 hours from May to July and Heat spells occur every year (above 30 degrees) but only last 2-4 days Most of the Time.
Most days are 20-26 degrees which is more zehn enough.
Winters we are unfortunatelly on the border to Snow very often.
Most years its wet and cold and sun is a rare occurance because its not strong enough to burn this fog and high fog clouds.
Snowcover and cold only last 2-3 weeks usually exept the some strong winters.
Best climate I wouldnt say but comfortable. Winters are to weak here but spring and autumn are better then Stockholm for example.

Ewww no, Scandinavia, and even Central Europe to the south both have terrible climates. Winters aren't too bad, but with cold shoulder seasons, weak summers, and the neverending gray skies, it's not an ideal climate for me

That depends on your definition of worlds best climate... sure we dont really have any extremes here which is nice but many days of the year is complete overcast and the winters tend to be really dark. Besides the last couple of winters we have had very little snow. Usually really windy down (or up?) here and temperatures for wearing shorts are limited to the summer but some days even then it is not enough. Its far from the worst climate but also far from the best in my opinion.

I live in southern scania (sweden) right across copenhagen.

Hell no! Far too cloudy, and not nearly warm enough either.

LOL, a warm summer in London would be like Monaco, and a mild winter would be like Marseille?

Are you for real? That's a whopper.

Temperature-wise, yes. Monaco's July high is 25.8c. Marseille's January high is 11.8c. Both of those temperatures can and have been recorded in warm summers and mild winters here.

Why don't you also have a problem with me saying our cold winters being like NYC or Milan? Or our cold summers being like the Midlands? You probably don't really care, you just want to start an argument or wind me up for no reason.
