Best. T-Storms. In. Years. Today.

I wasn't even expecting any real rain, let alone full blown thunderstorms, back to back to back. Very Florida-like, close bolts followed by loud thunder, for what felt like 90 minutes straight.

Heavy rain storm this afternoon. Kind of breezy out now. Leaves are obviously changing and falling, but overall it seems like a slow start to foliage season. Still lots of green around.

As I mentioned yesterday, Hudson Bay is going to ice up fast with what I'm seeing happening there. couple decent snowstorms too.

This is showing the snow total for all events now through Oct 21st.
How do you read this map, exactly? I'm not an idiot but it's confusing to me... o_O

bahaha, agree 100%!!! I'm obsessed with fall. I could deal with 1-2 months of winter--that's IT...after that, I'm so beyond over it. And I've only been through a real winter once so far, this past year, as I always lived in California before that (CA native here). Winter in Colorado Springs is bullsh*t - it snowed at the END OF MAY last year. I wanted to stab things...it was enraging. lol. Thank God I won't be here next year!

I can see outside on my porch again without sweating more than Bill Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal. Sweet, though still too warm for me.

The colors represent how many inches of snow that particular model update showed. Match the colors to the legend at the bottom to see how much.

Dew points in the 30s & 40s throughout the region as the front is off shore and High Pressure moves in.
