Yikes, you're looking at an almost record cold month here!

The average is 5.8°C/13.8°C for the airport. Add 2°C on the minimum and 1°C on the maximum and that'll probably be the stats for the city.

Not too unusual for my area, happens one in every 3 years I'd say. And it hasn't happened for a while.

The coldest high for the airport since 1970 is 5.7°C. Chilly!

The long-time averages indicate that the May-July period might be 1-1.5C above normal, so hope for it, and then continue the trend until August.

A) Average maximum temperature: 22C

C) Highest temperature: 32C
D) Lowest temperature: 7C
E) Minimum high: 14C
F) Maximum low: 21C
G) Precipitation days: 30
H) Snow days: 0
I) Thunderstorm days: 12
J) Rainfall total: 230 mm
K) Snowfall total: 0 cm
L) Sunshine hours: 870 hours

If the past two years are anything to go by..

A) Average maximum temperature - 21C
B) Average minimum temperature -12C
C) Highest temperature - 30C
D) Lowest temperature - 5C
E) Minimum high - 17C
F) Maximum low - 15C
G) Precipitation days - 23
H) Snow days - 0
I) Thunderstorm days - 5
J) Rainfall total - 130mm
K) Snowfall total - 0
L) Sunshine hours - 600

Past two years - July has been rather sunny, June and August less so but still around average. June and July have both been dry, with 25-35mm, while August has been wet (around 80mm). August 2013 was warm and wet, with thunderstorms, while August 2014 was cool and wet.

PS, Ariete, I think you got the maximum low and minimum high the wrong way around.

No, I didn't.

Looking at long time averages, there's a high probability for a >15C high in June, and 3 of 5 last summers have have a max low around 21C. (Last year 20.9C)

My brain is confused. I read minimum high as in 'highest minimum' for some reason. Will have to edit my post.

Yeah. I will hope for more (higher temps), but I want to get as many right based on stats, instead of just hoping for a real warm summer. So hope my predictions are conservative rather than optimistic.
