Both get similar temperatures for any given data, which have slightly cool winter with little seasonality, and "sub" Hawaii climate. Where will you choose for a vacation?

Rio de Janiero easily.....

Rio has a very good tropical climate.

Hengchun has twice as much rain ...and has that Asian monsoon that I don't like...
a way too rainy summer....must be humid as hell in summer.

Easily Rio de Janeiro: much more like Honolulu then Hengchun!
Rio has more sunshine and less rainfall (although the stats are a bit outdated)
