Early April is usually bare, though spring foliage was late in 2013. Pic I took on April 29 shows no leaves. Though other trees had them.

Wow that is early, if it wasn't for the light tinge on the leaves I would have guessed late May/early June.

And that's interesting, I would have assumed by early April you would have some trees budding out at least. That April 29 picture could just as easily have been on January 29

When do your trees go bare in autumn?
In the city, yes. But out in the countryside where there are mostly native trees most budding seems to occur in April. I'm also impressed with the early foliage on Irlinit's pictures! Though the landscape in Regent's Park at that time of the year must be different from, say, Epping forest.

Most trees go bare in late November. In the city, some trees still have leaves into December. Chestnuts in October.
