I thought this would be an interesting one....
which of these semi arid climates would you choose?
I think I'll go for Rivadavia due to it having the nicer winter
that Rivadavia place is insane!!! 33,34,35 and 36 average high for ALL THOSE MONTHS!
Basically rivadavia has 7 MONTHS!!!! with higher temps than the hottest month in BA! And hottest month in BA is already waaaay above a summer i could take. OMG its awful!! 7 month of unbelievably unlivable hotness and 5 months of just plain hot weather. wtf?
And Monterrey is also horrible, but a bit ""cooler"" than Rivadavia, so it takes my vote.
Both are F, but perhaps Monterrey is F- due to lower winter highs (barely).
Summers in both places are too much.
BTW, deneb, when I first read "Rivadavia" on the thread title, I thought "which one of the two?", because there is at least another Rivadavia in the province of Buenos Aires, with a much better climate from my perspective and worse from yours.
Ah, yes, and there's still another Rivadavia in the province of Mendoza. :P It's like Springfield in the US, haha.
The summer lows are lower in Rivadavia, but those both sound rather similar: steamy places in summer and either can hit 100F even in winter. That's crazy.
Rivadavia = F
Monterrey = F-
In comparison, where I live in Las Cruces NM, it's an B+ to A-, nearby Albuquerque and El Paso are B+, and Silver City and Ruidoso are both A. We're lucky!
There is no guey I'm picked Monterrey. Rivadavia for me
