I have what you would call a pretty typical Hispanic skin tone. Basically olive skin. Not sure if that's considered naturally darker-skinned or not.

Yeah, I get lighter and my hair darker, but not as much as many other Finnish people do.

It's considered dark, at least you know coming from a White Protestant Northern European perspective. If I try to get a tan in summer, I quickly become olive-skinned, but that is not my 'natural' colour.

I have a light olive skin tone. Managed after spending a few hours in January outside to still tan. Rarely get sunburnt even in July I'll spend whole day outside and only the back of my neck will get somewhat sunburned. Winter time though overall I am a lighter tone than summer of course lol.

This is one of a number of reasons why I think I'd probably dislike living in a low-latitude climate. That's the sort of sun strength we get in the summer, with most of the year being considerably lower (the entire cold half of the year have little to no significant UV index).

Hitting those kinds of numbers in February and knowing it was only gonna go up for several more months would be rather annoying for me, as I'm fairly sun-sensitive and dislike both the actual brightness and the hazards associated with it. I don't mind wearing sunglasses and sunscreen for a few months in the summer but having to do it all or most of the year sounds pretty annoying.

When I went to Ireland at the end of August I couldn't believe how pale the people were.

I really stood out with my tanned skin and people could tell just by my skin colour that I was not from Ireland(not due to clothing since I had jeans and a t-shirt).

I don't get too pale but I do get noticeably lighter in the winter.

Here is a pic just took, have lost quite a lot of color since August but still darker than Irish in summer.

Spoiler

White tennis socks drewn halfway up your shin. Want some moonshine and shag your cousin?

Haha, the shorts were for the pic and the high socks are for keeping warm outside.

Did the Europeans laugh at your white socks when you were in Europe? Or did they took them as a passport?

Doesn't seem particularly tanned to me, I'm about the same colour as well as most other native British living in southern England. I wouldn't have expected much difference in skin colour between southern England and Ireland.
