UCF has more than double the enrollment of UK. But ours is located in downtown, which is overcrowded in the first place...

Well, I guess the area of Orlando it's located in isn't that crowded, but UCF itself has four times as many students as some similar-sized universities.

If it's as bad as you say I wonder what makes it so popular.

The fact that it's a state college that's easier to get into than FSU and UF? Also, it's location in Orlando I would assume makes it popular.

Yeah, being in a highly populated state helps. And the not-so-selective admissions process...I'm convinced they lie about their statistics to make it seem more selective. Could have gone to FSU, but their engineering department is garbage.

You're right, which is why I indicated I thought it was on the level of a vague feeling for many folks. But that doesn't make it any less real. It is also worth noting that most people are very disconnected from both nature and their ancestors, so it is unreasonable to expect much serious thought to go into how Halloween may be significant for these reasons. Again, the feeling is more of an ineffable, basic spiritual one in most cases.

I was a witch for my first Halloween and a Chernobyl victim for my last.
