Fantastic day today. High in the 60s, currently in low mid 50s. Forecast shows lows in the 30s this weekend! Now thats exciting! I can't wait to break my jackets and hats.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Cloudy skies will keep me in the 50s as per the forecast. Could be my first high of the season below 60 F.

Waited 30yrs to get out of the heat of the south but I haven't had one cold winter since I moved up here. Ugh...disappointed in PA.
Im guessing you havent lived here for more than a year, cause 13/14 and 14/15 winters were insanely cold. Even if above average it's still gonna be pretty cold in PA. Last year was a very warm winter by our standards, but even in a record warm March we still had a few nights in the teens. PA/Upstate NY winters are gonna be freezing even if they're well above average

Growing season has ended in North Carolina.

Colder in North Carolina than Maine this morning.

Wow at the widespread 20s down there. 10-20 below normal in KY, WV, VA, & NC.

These are not the actual lows so its possible it went lower.

Here's why.... High & Dry down there. Cloudy over New England

Norfolk VA went below freezing last night (28°F). We here (KTEB) still haven't been below freezing yet. Amazing.
