This is Sparta!!!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sparta_(modern)#Climate

So what do you think of Sparta's climate?I kinda like it however it's too hot during the summer and a bit too rainy for my liking.I give it a solid C

Quote:
The city of Sparta enjoys a sunny and warm Mediterranean climate (Köppen Csa). Winters are mild and cool while summers tend to be particularly hot. January mean maximum temperatures are around 14 °C (57 °F) or 15 °C (59 °F) while July mean maximum temperatures are around 36 °C (97 °F). Sparta is notorious for the scorching summer heat and in fact during July 2012 the city registered an average maximum temperature of 38.3 °C (100.9 °F) making it Greece's highest monthly average maximum temperature to date

Epic post! However, Sparta is an F because it has less than an inch (25.4 mm) in June and July and it's too hot in the summer.

D+

Summers are too hot. Winters are a bit cool and perhaps would have a lot of rainy days and gloominess.

Sparta's lows are rather cool for Greece's standards. That's due to elements of continentality shown in this climate.

I get depressed everytime I see a climate from somewhere else near my latitude with palm trees and an avg low of 38F in January.

A 38F avg low in Jan in the eastern US means no palm trees, except for maybe some super hardy sabal palmetto things or Chinese windmills. Certainly not phoenix palms or fruit laden orange trees:

Sparta should get a solid B for climate. Anywhere with mild winters can't get anything lower than a C, and Sparta enjoys warm fall and spring weather. Summer can be a bit hot, but that is not such a big deal.

An average low of 38 means sabal palms, washingtonias, some cidp, pindo palms, sago palms. Low of 38 would most likely mean zone 8b and up.
