In my attempts to improve my ideal climate and at the same time make it more realistic, I have another question relating to weather conditions.
I have heard of year-round warm, humid places such as Honolulu being described as "not that bad" humidity-wise because of the moderate winds. Do winds indeed have that sort of humidity moderating effect, or is it just tourist guide hogwash?
And would it be realistic to have a climate with the same temperatures and rainfall as my ideal (see my album "Weather stuff"; it's called "Ideal climate 201606"), but humidity around 60% (annual average) and wind speeds of 10-15 mph (16-24 km/h)? If so, would that still be reasonably pleasant?
Any and all input is very much appreciated.

On the west coast of Maui I was surprised at the wind...and I've spent lots of time in Chicago! I was there in early spring and it actually felt a little too cool for me on the beach . The wind is almost constant and strong - the average is 15 mph, pretty much year round. So yes, wind helps humidity a lot, as long as it isn't too hot, but I'm not sure where that cutoff would be.
February temps in Lahaina:
80 F average high
63 F average low
62 F average dewpoint

My ideal temperatures would be 81/65ºF (27/18ºC) in the winter and 88/72ºF (31/22ºC) in the summer, which I'm assuming is well below whatever the magic cutoff is. I don't like the feeling of being too cold outside of winter, though - I'd prefer to feel neutral if not slightly warm.
So my understanding is that I'm understanding how this works and I just need to tweak it for truly ideal values?
Thanks very much for your input!
