a friend of mine posted she's buying this near-mansion sized house. Think she was joking:

only $179,000! Looks like a bargain, but you get what you pay for...

This forum would be a lot better if people could just hold off on their personal biases when speaking of their own climates (and I don't mean preferences, I mean trying to make the climate seem warmer/cooler than it is).
hmm I know of someone that does this

Went passed the World Trade Center site for the first time since 2001 (pre-9/11). It's still a little surreal. It looks so nice, but the feel is very heavy. I can't unsee the originals collapsing with my own eyes.

1WTC is just massive in person, just like the original towers. They should've built two of them.

They want to keep one site unoccupied as a memorial to 9/11 victims, which I think is the right thing to do.

Not gonna lie, from an architectural standpoint the new tower is much nicer and more beautiful. I went there last month and it was very stunning, I loved the Oculus too. Inside the station it looked like you entered into a sci-fi movie; the architect is a genius

I walked past the edge of the WTC site in 2012 carrying a whiteboard me and my friend bought at the nearby Staples; felt a bit out of place with all the tourists. Biked near it in August 2015
