Yeah but you implied that jgtheone is going to hell for much less. You can certainly act against the political interests that you don't believe in, if you wish to destroy their frame work/beliefs go ahead, but that's different than destroying the actual people themselves. I like to think people can be educated about the effects they have on others

It would make more sense to think of it as God being the energy which created every single thing. I and other people have had experiences in which I've been aware of how this energy itself is self aware. What would you like from me that would make you believe it? Is that even possible?
The evidence comes from within. Not from somebody else. This is the entire point of all these stories in the Bible about Jesus vs the temptation of the devil in the desert, Jesus chooses the kingdom of heaven over the things of this world, because he knows all things are possible with god. He refuses to accept any false substitute from another being or from the world.
Some ways for you to get evidence: learn transcendental meditation, God will reveal himself to you when you learn to shut off your thinking/mind. All you have to do is ask, with a sincere heart, and God will reveal himself to you. Don't wait until you die, though you will know for sure at that point of course.
If god has such energy, why doesn't every person on Earth feel it, or even believe in the same god? What makes the Christian god more godlike than a Hindu god?
