I was tempted to vote Lib Dem. I was even tempted to abstain entirely. But living in a very safe Labour seat it didn't matter too much.

And you know what? If it was a choice between Corybn's Labour and Cameron's Tories, I might have even voted for the latter.

What's the difference between Cameron and May's Tories, other than their approach towards the EU?

I can't see too many differences apart from Grammar Schools and Fox Hunting.

From the sounds of it, May wants to use Islamic Terrorism as an excuse to turn England into the version seen in V for Vendetta

May seems more authoritarian to me, too old-fashioned, she appeals more to working-class provincials.

Unfortunately this has been happening for probably the past 30 years.

It'll be interesting to see how much rich London neighborhoods vote. Looks like in 2015, richer people voted more Conservative, but not pattern with education

yea, if I were in the UK I definitely wouldn't for the Conservatives. Wouldn't have been so sure a month or two ago.

Yes, middle-class voters usually favour the Tories, while the poorest voters usually favour Labour. It's all down to economic self-interest, with wealthier voters feeling they'd be better off under a low-tax right-wing government, and the latter thinking they'd be better off under a higher-tax left-wing government. But many Tories are socially liberal, especially areas of London like Richmond Park and Kensington which are very internationalist.

But this year the lines are more blurred.

Poorer voters generally side with Labour for economic reasons, but there is a growing disconnect when it comes to other issues, especially with the white working class. The Brexit referendum was a stark illustration of this.
