I really struggle to have any sympathy for somebody who just doesn't live in the real world.
I had a pretty awful time growing up, but I don't cry about it. I joined the Navy at 16, with no qualifications other than a few GCSEs. Owen, imagine being a 16 year old boy in the military. I was in Iraq at 18. But ithen, imagine moving a few hundred miles from one part of the UK to another...
Anyway, I worked hard, got my degree whilst in the military, then my aircraft engineering licenses, and left the military with great memories and experiences.

I'd love to see Owen go to Uni, get his qualifications, and probably more than anything, come out with those great memories and experiences. I just don't see it though. I'm sure Irlinit has them from Norwich. And as he said, he's from a privileged background. However he has a human side that Owen seemingly doesn't have. Quite sad really. Owen needs tough love. He's never seen a hard day in his life, and it will bite him in the arse.

Part of me feels like Owen just needs a good ass whooping.

I have. Easy peasy.. England is the same culturally as Ireland anyway.

YOU FAIL

Having aspergers can excuse some of the nonsense you say, however you also post a lot of arrogant nonsense

At 19, really?
Perhaps you feel the people in England are "closed off/reserved" & that there is a "lot of intolerance" but it is far more likely that the way YOU behave is what distances people from you. You seem to think you are better than everyone else & look down your nose at students drinking & having fun, I mean how dare they?! If you took your head out of your a** & stopped being such a douche you may find people behave differently towards you, because how you describe England is not the England I was born in & lived in most of my life

And yes IRISH people may be nice, (though I'm sure a fair few are also c***s), but Northern Ireland is a completely different kettle of fish...

Okay, Brighton is the San Francisco of England, but granted Pompey is quite close geographically and England's closed city to Spain pretty much so

Even if I had a lot of money, I couldn't imagine myself being so wasteful with it. Who pays $300 for a ****ing belt? It's a stupid belt. I would still buy relatively cheap. I don't care too much about style.

For one meal? £30 is like 500k rupiahs, which is a week worth of meal here!
Thankfully i have no driving license so i only eat around the campus area, which is "student's cost" 10-35k rupiahs (roughly £0.60-2.00)

And to think that one of my classmates whose father was in the embassy can get used to "student's cost" meals as well, after 3 years living in Australia

That's quite funny.. I went out for a meal today on Campus and it cost me £11..drinks alone are £2.

IDK how people on this board can afford £5 meals.

Why? £5 for a meal is very cheap.
