I don't know the detail of all the climates listed in the poll, and right now I don't have time for searching the all of them. So I prefer to don't vote in the poll. Who knows, maybe among the climates I don't know there is the perfect one for me!
Anyway, in general I would not go too far from my own climate. I like warm and sunny summers, not extremely hot but with a certain constancy of good weather. About winter, I'm not a cold lover but I like to see some snow too, and so I think that climates like mine can be a good compromise.

Turin / Torino is pretty good, I agree.
Check out Vernon, not too bad either.
I wonder who chose Bridgeport?
Cambium lives there but I don't think he likes the climate.
This is quite difficult. I generally like the Mediterranean climates overall, but dry summers are something I ultimately won't accept.
I will go for other easy living climates -that is climates where heating isn't a big issue, and neither is cooling. They need to get a reasonable amount of rain, decent sunshine and not get too hot or cold. Also need to be climates that allow a wide range of fruit production of both subtropical and cooler climate fruit, as well as great summer gardening.
I would choose Motueka, Sydney, Melbourne, Rimini, Portland and Wellington and with Buenos Aires and Freiburg as borderline.
Not sure what my first choice would be -maybe Motueka, as it's such a great climate. Sydney maybe, although I don't mind a bit of frost either, which Sydney, does poorly with.
I'd go for either mild and coastal, with lots of fog (didn't really see that represented in any of the choices--perhaps western France), or something like Lexington... hot summers, mild winters, just cool enough for the leaves to change a bit in the late Fall, with a nice Spring...
According to wiki they average 3c/-5c in January, with an annual snowfall of 70cm. That is cold and snowy.
