I honestly prefer your climate to Bridgeport, it seems your cold snaps are more extreme.

I'm surprised you want Motueka over Rochester. Its very similar to Niagara Falls which you had in your list.

The winter here is amazing, altho we'll have to see how spring turns out, I'm afraid the warmup will be too slow

It's due to coastal moderation, Hartford has gotten much colder. We have warmer averages with greater variation. Summers are significantly better here too, and we get more thunderstorms.

Munich (Guajara), Glasgow (theelectricspider39) and Oslo (cmptrwlt) are also not on the list.

And wasn't there one posting from somewhere in Alaska?

Certainly in the eye of the beholder. For Cambium that's definitely not cold and snow enough.

Bridgeport no doubt has bouts of cold and snowy weather, but winters are not consistent or reliable. Some winters could be more like Washington DC/Virginia.
