This Cocktober is an extended August. Septictember was 3C below average here, nothing normal about it. The forecast STILL has predominantly 18-19C days which is just retarded.
Gfs indicating an high amount of rain for the extreme southern part of the country in nexts 10 days.
I really envy them, while here we are with five years of drought and hot conditions, they had below average winter and an good amount of rain.
Yep, i was watching it. GFS shows southern Brazil and northeast Argentina getting drenched in the next weeks. The Parana river will be in high levels, for sure.
Also, during this week the widespead snowfalls returns in Patagonia. And here October is near normal so far. Yesterday and today were warm, with maxs around 25ºC.

This spring looks to being on average for Subtropical regions,Cfs are indicating below to normal average temperatures for most of Southern South America and the continent overall, with some small above average areas in November.

Are you in your current city (forgot its name, that semi-arid one in SA) because you happen to be in close proximity to friends and family? If not, then try moving to someplace northernmost, like Alice Springs? They are more consistent (if it's heat, it's heat for 6 months). The areas in southern Australia would still be prone to cool, southerly changes.

Yeah I'm there. I like the climate here, keep in mind this last couple months have been well below average. Last summer was delightfully hot and the local geography creates some real sultry evenings which I never experienced before. The thunderstorms when they do occur are unlike anything I've seen before. Alice Springs is far too remote for a small town, might go insane. At that point, might aswell go for Darwin. Atleast here you do not feel like you are marooned in the middle of nowhere.
