First time here, wanted to try this out for a while. How would you guys rate this climate? Is there a similar climate to this one somewhere?

I like it, although I'm not a big fan of how quick it warms up in March/April, also could be a bit warmer in summer. November and December are too warm as well. Overall pretty decent though, I'd give it a B-

B- as well. Love the rainfall pattern and amount, summers are decent but winter is way too cold.

Thanks for your input. Yes, the transition into spring/summer would probably feel pretty abrupt.

I hate it. October and November have to be some of the worst months possible. Horrible huge amounts of cold rain in the winter and fall and spring. Summer's are nice but too cool and dry--probably not many thunderstorms. Winters are too cold and snowy, but I like the fast warmup. Oh wait, all there is in spring is just stupid, awful cold rain. After those winters I'd want nice weather, not that abysmal math and April and after summer, I already hate fall but this fall is just horrible. F-----------

Yeah, the transition months sure do have a lot of rain!

May-sep and jan-feb are great. Oct-dec and mar-apr are too wet for those temperatures, I don't like lots of cold rainy days. If winter had less rain (or no rain) it would be even better, but there will definitely be a thick snowpack.

I don't know of any place with this climate. But some places in northeast Turkey are somewhat close.

Erzurum has similar high temperatures, colder lows. Spring and fall wet seasons but not nearly as wet as your climate.
Agri has closer average temperatures and a slightly drier summer but more rain overall.
Other climates around there that I know of are Ardahan (cold), Kars, and Bayburt.

Off-topic:
Turkey has tons of climates for how small it is. Look at how close places are but temperatures and precipitation pattern vary a lot.

Google maps trip for all these cities
If the link doesn't work, total distance is 1200km and driving time is 19 hours. Speed limits must be lower there...either way it's basically north from Batman to the coast, then east.
