I tried to make climate tables in wikipedia but for some reason it's not working so I decided to do it in excel instead.

Here is the imperial version (F/in) of Seattle (SeaTac Airport)

and here is the metric version (C/mm) of Seattle (SeaTac Airport)

You can also compare it to 2015 (there is a climate table on post #3) Rate Seattle's Weather for 2015

This year overall was another great year, spring and fall was much warmer than normal, though December was much colder and drier, which in a way was a good thing too since we had a lot more sun than normal. The first 3 months and especially october where wetter the rest of the month was average or drier. Summer heat was about normal despite the much warmer spring, though August was able to warm up quite a bit and get a bit toasty at times. Also despite the much colder December we got very little bit of snow somewhere between 1 - 3 inches depending on location since snowfall was pretty patchy.

Triggered

C+ good but not great winters, and a weak summer outside of August. I love the stability

in 2015 the summer highs were 79F, 83F, 79F, except that year it was even wetter, especially towards the end of the year which ended up spilling over to the beginning of 2016. The winter of 2015/2016 was one of the warmest and wettest, whereas the winter of 2016/2017 seems to be one of the coldest and driest so far, which is also kind of odd since November was one of the warmest Novembers and then followed by one of the coldest Decembers in a long time. November was so warm that I still had Tomatoes still growing in the garden and flowering, though too cold to develop any fruit.

Very similar to here except a couple of degrees warmer which is expected. I will be generous and give it a C-. Except for the cold snap we are having, overall it has been a great year for Seattle and the rest of the PNW.

Winters are too wet and mild. Summers are too dry and a little too warm, but reasonably pleasant. December was a pleasant change from the usual Seattle mildfest.

C.

I'll give it a D-. Winter is too mild and stable while summer is too cool. Winter was just a miserable cold rain fest. Also way too little snow and too few thunderstorms. The rainy winters are by far the biggest problem. If they were much drier it would probably be a C.

Better than 2015 as that winter was way too mild and it was even rainier. Average Seattle is warmer in winter and cooler in summer, so 2016 was better.

D- way too mild for my liking, not enough colder lows, very limited snow, and too wet

D-. I prefer 2015 for having more marked heat waves, more summer rain, and milder winter weather.
