Jesus, I didn't realise you could these kind of lows so regularly especially as it is only the start of winter for you guys, we would struggle to see more than a few days in a row with -2C/-3C low temperatures in our winters!

The nice thing is that you still have a relatively strong sun that probably feels pretty warm without wind in winter.

Never. No way would I live there! I was born and grew up in Melbourne, got sick of the nasty droughty weather (at the time) so moved to Sydney 16 years ago for more rain and that's a fact!

I never said I have lived in Asia and yet rumours abound on this forum that I have "lived" there.

The only countries I have lived in is here - naturally -, NZ (one year), north America (San Francisco 2 months), London 2 months and Europe (Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels over the course of six weeks).

Another reason to use a 1mm cutoff for counting "rain" days. I once saw some July stats for Alexandra that cited 15 precip. days for a very small total - the number of 1mm days was only 2 or 3.

Low of 5°C tonight, but it's already reached 4.9°C at 9pm. Noice.

This better be making up for the Saturday morning fail.

Ballarat and Bendigo, inland VIC cities, barely manage to go below 3C in the next few nights. So I really doubt that you guys would plummet below 0C anytime soon.
