Glad you actually get proper heat and storms in SA

Although seriously, Failbourne seems like kind of a poo climate to me too. Highs of only 60°F in the middle of summer? Yuck - that's even worse than here and I think we have weak summers!

The average in Melbourne is about 26°C (79°F), but that's artificially boosted by 40+°C highs and I've seen him post forecasts of low to mid 60s °F in the summer. It's not an everyday thing; I'd expect the median to be about 24°C just based on skimming his posts, but still, their lowest summer highs are just as low as, if not lower than, what is observed here.

And Hobart is an even worse climate.

Seriously?

We were even warmer than that as recently as this past Friday! Isn't that also pretty close to their winter average?

Artificially? Like they don't happen or something?

Here's Melbourne's average high temps, take a look for yourself.

Actually the high is forecast to be 17C, about 63F. Still disgraceful.

Don't use American websites for Australian weather, they are wrong, inaccurate and have no relevance to our weather. Use the BOM.

It is not the middle of summer, in fact it's not even summer yet. I agree that the upcoming week is absolute **** but don't make things up.

Yeah, I was using Weather.com. Are american weather sites actually that far off for Australian cities?
