October at Observatory Hill. A decent month, above average highs with slightly below average lows. Plenty of sunshine, but less than half the average amount of rain.

Humidity is at 3pm, rain days are 0.2mm+

AVG Temp: 8.8C (-0.6C - thanks to warm nights)

From the sunniest September to one of the cloudiest Octobers in record. Nuff said.

It was 1.9 degrees above normal here. Pretty average-ish I'd say. Am I going to feel something only 1.9 degrees varied from the average? Not really. At all.

I'm just hoping December isn't like 11 (10.8 technically) degrees above normal like it was last year. But it probably will be, because Jesus hates me.

October 2016 in Zagreb:

Highs: 23.9/8.9c
Lows: 13.5/0.3c

Average high: 15.0c (-0.8c)
Mean temperature: 10.5c (0.0)
Average low: 6.0c (-0.2c)

Precipitation: 107.1 mm (+24.2 mm)
Precipitation days (>1 mm): 9

Sunshine: 89 hours (-35 hours)

Overall, a gloomy, rainy and pretty cold month. Even though it was this cold, its mean of 10.5c is exactly the same as the normal October mean temperature (even though I'm not sure how), so we technically didn't break our streak of 44 consecutive months at or above average

PWS:

Melbourne Airport:

Avg. Max: 18.5°C (-1.6°C)
Avg. Min: 7.9°C (-0.7°C)

Max. High: 26.0°C (30th)
Max. Low: 14.4°C (7th)
Min. High: 11.9°C (22nd)
Min. Low: 2.2°C (14th)

Rainfall: 72.8mm (149.8% of avg. rainfall)
Rain days: 14 (+1)

Sunshine hours: 215.2 hours (96.6% of avg. sun hours)

Highest wind gust: 107km/h from the north (9th)
The 21st also recorded a gust of 100km/h, and there were 8 days that recorded gusts of 80km/h or more.

Overall, a cold, wet month with avg. sunshine. The best way to put it is that it felt like a second September. Even the PWS was a degree below average and that always records like 1-2°C over!

Your October was like a June in Sydney, albeit sunnier.
