So the first climate that comes to mind with these conditions is Lima: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lima#Climate

But is there an official hot, mild or cold desert climate out there which is even cloudier than Lima?

edit: By cloudy I mean less sunshine hours, just to avoid technicalities here.

Welp, I was going to say Lima just by looking at the thread title. Honestly don't know a cloudier desert climate.

Not sure of any places that average less than Lima but the only place that I know of that can even compete is Manta:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manta,_Ecuador#Climate

The difference isn't very much so I'm sure Manta is cloudier than Lima in certain years.

Looks quasi semi-arid though.

I guess the temps propel it to desert, but it feels strange to call a climate with more than 90 mm in a month a desert climate even if it technically meets the definition

Goddamn Lima is depressing. Overly cloudy AND a severe lack of precipitation? What a pointless climate.

And more humid than Miami, assuming that average humidity is calculated in the same way
