No doubt a continental climate will immediately beat this, but I'll get the ball rolling:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chester#Climate

Record High: 35.2°C (95.36°F)
Record Low: -18.2°C (-0.76°F)

Maximum temperature range = 53.4°C (96.12°F)

(Note: The overall °F maximum temperature range result was produced via a separate calculation, avoid simply converting the overall °C total or else it will produce a misleading result.)
Within the location you mentione is valid the whole country or only the region ? I don't have an official AEMET station in Altea (which is milder than the nearest official one)

If it's the region, i'll take AEMET station of Alicante airport, -2.6ºC / 41.4ºC, this is the 1971-2016 data. But if we take older data, Alicante airport reached it's all time historical low in 1970, being of -3.8ºC.

For Spain as a whole is Teruel, the place of the extremes. It recorded quite lower temperatures at 920m of altitude (3.010ft) than cities higher than 1.100m of altitude, so it's crazy.

In Teruel the lowest recorded is -19.0ºC (-2,2F), meanwhile the maximum recorded is 40.2ºC (104,4F) so here we have a difference of 59.2ºC ! (138,6F)

St. Louis

High: 115F (46C)
Low: -22F (-30C)
Range: 137F (76C)

Relative to northern cities, our weather is more moderate. Most years, we don't get anywhere near those records. But we've had a few extreme moments.

Yeah, but he doesn't actually live there: he lives 500km away in Vernon where the range is "only" 69.5°C.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernon...lumbia#Climate

Max: 38.5°C
Min: −31.0°C

Here are the results so far. All figures in Celsius.

Note that the Razza94 specified "temperature between the record high and the record low of the location where you currently live."

Glacierx doesn't actually live in Chilanko Forks--he was just "from" there. I'll leave it to Razza94 whether or not he wants to accept that submission.

We're also awaiting Bettafish to confirm or deny that they actually live in Mohe; somehow I doubt it. If he or she doesn't actually live here then that entry will be deleted.
