Hi everyone,
So what is your sunniest time and cloudiest time of year where you live?
In Nashville, August-October is the sunniest time of year and November-January is typically the cloudiest.

Austin here.

July-August is sunniest. December-January is cloudiest (even though not the rainiest, just a lot of fog/clouds).

January/February are the sunniest and November/December are the cloudiest. Not much difference between sunniest and cloudiest months here, by percentage of possible sunshine.

I live in a Csb climate, so:

* Sunniest: January-February (around 65% possible sunshine)

* Cloudiest: May-June-July (around 32% possible sunshine)

Unless you live in China, summer or spring is pretty much guaranteed to be the sunniest...

Sunniest: June, July. Practically equal.

Cloudiest: Usually February. December normally is pretty sunny, January is even sunnier.

In terms of %, late spring and early summer (before the afternoon t-storms ramp up) and October (actually the most). By hours May then June.

December and January are the cloudiest by far though it's not awful. Still average over 50% possible and shortest days are a tick under 10 hours. Not awful.
