If someone's born with the wrong genitals I just say deal with it and make the most of it.
Even the most female men still got way too many male hormons to be a natural woman ever no matter the surgeries and therapies involved. As for females becoming men that's even crazier, because there's just no way to grow male-like muscle strength in a female body (in relation to people on similar training etc).
i'm ok with gay/bi people, but isn't transgender just a mental disease? i mean it's dellusional. what if someone identifies him/herself as a kitchen knife or a lamp post. should he/she be allowed to go through medical procedures or be put on medication and get councelling? i'll opt for the latter.

50 years ago most people assumed homosexuality was a mental illness as well.
I have no reference because I'm a very proud male born and bred who absolutely admire everything about the female body and know I can never aspire to that
I'll give those people the benefit of the doubt given how they feel about it but if someone's got a beard I'm not gonna call that person "Juliet" myself

Well if you do not understand what it is to be trans & simply think it is a man or woman who just wants to be the opposite sex & no matter what they are still that gender they were born with then...
