Based on statistics as well as your experiences and opinions, what do you think your location's climate normals will be like in the future?

I think Umeå will have a similar climate to Gävle by 2100, with about 2000h of sunshine.

Under your crystal ball what will Nyköping have?

I'm going with a sunnier and slightly drier Bamberg as the most likely scenario of your opinion. Still think winter nights will snap pretty hard at times.

As for myself I step short of going any further than Lund's current one

Spring and fall will be several degrees warmer in 2100, but there will be little change in summer or winter averages. It will also be slightly wetter and snowier.

Based on trends from 1872-1990 to 1981-2010 periods.

In the future Almería will have the northernmost coconut in the world.

My location (I hope) it won't be much warmer than now, probably warmer winters and transitional months but similar summers.

senseless, we were talking about exterior ones. If not, senseless.

Madrid already has coconuts in the Atocha central station as well as many tropical plants and a tropical garden with tortoises which never hibernate, but obviously is air-conditioned year round.

Predictions of Rotterdam for 2071-2100 then?

Mine is 23.3/14.0 in July and 7.8/2.4 in January!

I can't answer this question with any real level of certainty for my location but I suspect that the annual average temperature could be a few degrees higher than the present, annual mean precipitation might be slightly higher, and average annual snowfall might not change by much, very interesting question by the way. ( my dubious predictions listed above are based on the observations of recent temperature and rainfall trends in Indianapolis).
