Throw on your parka and suck it up!

Except for last Tuesday and Wednesday, highs have been about 10 degrees below average. The upcoming week is looking about average.

What is the closest weather station to you? Central Park is at -5.7F below average! BGA is even more extreme, the average highs are nearly 10F below average! The average high of 62.9 in BGA would place it as by far the coldest September on average, which is amazing cause this is supposed to be the warmest part of September

High of 74F today (in NYC)...still below average but feels tropical compared to the past two weeks lol

63 with a 47 dew and overcast at 12 PM. The low dipped to 46 this morning, the coldest since the 2nd. It hasn't exceeded 70 since the 3rd, although that should end tomorrow. Next week looks very nice with temps in the 70s and lots of sun and little rain

The month is averaging 69.0/51.4 so far which is 5.4 below average. The average highs are at -6.5.

Currently, here in Aurora, ME, 63℉/17.22℃, Dew point 54℉/12.22℃, Winds 9mph/14.48410kph, Partly Sunny..

The sun greeted us this morning across a clear, blue sky and with a cup of dark brew in hand, we paused to enjoy the Birch Meadows out our windows..Golden showers of leaves carried on a gentle breeze, kissed and colored the grass, as the sun slid down the changing colors of trees across the meadows..A Swallow, perched in an empty clothesline, twittered (reminding us of the sudden Thundershowers yesterday and how I barely made it out to retrieve our bedding before it poured). Chipping Sparrows flitted around the bird feeders, while four Doves took their authoritative positions beneath, resting on their sides and enjoying the warmth...The Juvenile, Blue Jays' clinking calls, echoed across the meadows and could be heard from within, while they awaited their companions to join them before they descended to the bird feeders enforce!
A propane heater warmed the room, (taking off the chill and the need for the fluffy, fleece, bathrobe, hanging on the bathroom door). From this lovely, comfortable place, which soothes our souls and warms our Spirits, we sighed....
When Hurricane Harvey blew through and left a unimaginable flood, it brought back a reminder of what it was to survive a flood...I could hardly think, let alone write...Even though we saw much good result out of the peoples' spirits of community and help...it still was heart wrenching to watch...Now Hurricane Irma, is raging...we both prayed, again, before facing our screen to witness, from afar, the unfolding real-life drama, of our fellow Americans....with tears in our eyes!

Tallahassee is in the high-60s now~their average high is 88F on this date! Wtf?! This has to be one of the coldest days ever for there, right? It's not often that you get -17F anomaly in Florida

Fort Myers is even crazier, 18F below average!!!
