i'd have thought the Med would be way too cold - my family lived there in Malta for 5 years with restricted heating and said it was nice to get back to some proper heating lol .
I know a guy in Cyprus who says the same - it's the poor insulation see.
No where in Europe for me , Azores would be damp and chilly and get into your bones after a while .
Canaries maybe ? there's bound to be somwhere there that wouldn't req air con
How about two cities in different hemispheres? -a perpetual comfortable summer.
When we were in Sicily, the tour guide said her apt did not even have a heater. I would think most Mediterranean islands would be mild in the winter, but it might be hot in summer.
It is mild in winter here & we have no central heating, but it can feel very cold inside due to the high humidity, it often feels warmer outside... One way to make it feel warmer indoors is to use a dehumidifyer, which we use more than our electric & gas heaters...
Hawaii??? They say that Hawaii is relatively comfortable year round in terms of temperature........some would say that Hawaii, being in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, gives it a natural air conditioning
The city of Funchal alone is perfectly livable without any heating or A/C in summer. A bit warm during summer, but not extreme. Why do you want a pair of 2 cities when you can have only one ?

You are right, my bad. I was asking for 2 different cities, like a pair.
One that would cover 6 months of the year and one to cover the other 6 months.
each one should have very comfortable weather for only 6 months of the year.
The criteria for comfortable is neutral/ "boring" weather without extrems like too hot, too cold, too humid, too dry, too windy., etc . Something like 75 and partially sunny with some puffy white clouds and a very light wind.
No cooling or heating should be necessary to feel comfortable.
I think the OP means humid and dry in terms of dewpoints/relative humidity, not rainfall.
You are right. Rain is ok as long as is moderate, no extreams of any kind basically. A gloomy day is extream for example, a short rain followed by sunshine doesn't ruin a day, it can be nice.

Having been to Hawaii in the summer more than once, I wouldn't want to live there without A/C

I've been to Hawaii at different times of the year & wouldn't want to be without aircon at any time lol
