Long day. Trying to squeeze in everything before this weekend.

44°F max today under cloudy skies. Waiting for the front tomorrow. Tracking the potential snow Friday night and Saturday night.

Friday night we are literally on the edge with the latest. Might be one of those snow at coast and nothing for interior moments.

Well I'll be back in North Carolina from December 18-January 15, so if the lower plains get cold and snow then I'll miss it.

I suppose whether the weather is a crying shame is completely in the eyes of the beholder, for my location, high temperatures aren’t supposed to be above average or even seasonal after tomorrow or Wednesday, your location isn’t known for brutally cold temperatures anyways, just consider yourself fortunate that you live in the South-I would gladly trade places with you
I would gladly trade places with you, too.

Wunderground is calling for 49F here on Wednesday, though NWS is forecasting 51F. Then highs in the 50's for the remainder of the week. The coldest low I see is 29F on Saturday night.

Looks like we narrowly missed reaching 80F today. It got up to 79F. Hopefully that's the warmest it gets this month.

A good chance of thunderstorms with the frontal passage tomorrow morning.

73f here now. Warming up more and more ahead of the front. Fishing offshore should be good as the grouper feed before a big weather change.
