That trough is supposed to start moving out Wednesday with a ridge out west here by Thursday

Widespread 4-6 inches of snow here tonight/tomorrow. That's our biggest storm in at least a couple years, I believe. It is down from the original 6-8 they were forecasting (or 8-12 if you wanted to believe the Weather Channel).

Wow! I'm still trying to put loops together from this last one. Looks like Chicago and DC missing out on this one. Should be a nice sunny weekend here with 40s.

And not surprisingly that trough that leaves you comes back here after Thursday. We are Ying & Yang.

GFS says Friday next week looks to be the warmest day but its still 7 days away so it might be Thursday instead. Depends on the timing of the cold front. Should be 3-4 days of Spring airmass (50s/60s) Tues-Fri

GFS6z for next Friday afternoon temps.

Look at that sharp line! Interior definitely going to miss out on the warmth!

High yesterday only made it to 34 F here. The sun was strong though, lost 3" of snow just from that, down to 6" depth this morning, probably going to lose a similar amount today. The spring sun is too strong to keep a good snowpack now haha oh well. Low this morning was a crisp 18 F, heading for a high of 37 this afternoon

Next Friday is also the opening day for baseball. I think the Mets will be at home so great weather for them.

Edit: make that Thursday is the Mets home opener.

Current look at the upper heights and radar. Looks cold in the PacNW with that Looming Upper Low over the Pacific.

Surprised not seeing rain over California though with a flow like this. maybe this weekend?

It seems like an end of the snowy season for the northeast, and the last significant event in the next days for the entire US's east. Pattern change!
