Closer up

I am still baffled how there is snow on the ground here still the next day. Birds are really stressing out. They can't find food. The sun must not be angled anymore. It's April for crying out loud!

Speaking of the sun... The sun has been blank so many times in recent months/yrs.
Solar Activity is very low. Not only that but the peak of this current cycle was the lowest since the Dalton Minimum (early 1800's).

I read low solar activity creates more clouds on earth. Snows would last longer on the ground this late as I'm witnessing. Timing is everything. Plus you got a Polar Vortex more south than usual pushing cold air down into the U.S.

Sure seems to be much less cloudy days in the winter now than compared to the 70's and 80's for my area...

The 1970’s and 1980’s likely had a much stronger solar cycle than the most recent peak sunspots cycle, if I were you, I’d relocate further south, it looks like a potentially severe episode of global cooling is about to happen if it hasn’t begun already.

Good luck with that. No cooling for my area. At least Jan was below normal and March, but a super insane hot Feb made up the diff to give us another above normal warm winter. Rainfall since the first week of Feb has been almost nothing. Sun has no effect on big rapid cooling that i ever saw. Been keeping records since the late 70's and have seen nothing but warming since 1990.
