I decided to choose this city in Florida in particular because it is inland and not on the coast. Unlike say, Miami, Orlando doesn't have a true tropical climate according to the Koppen classification, but it has seen an impressive bout of warmth these past 2 months and is still stuck in summer, so when do you think it'll finally cool down there?
Sunday October 21st. Cold front coming through so that will be the end of 70+. Whats the streak at again?
Maybe. Wind is going to be out of the northeast (not northwest) during that time, so if there's clouds around, they'll stay above 70 F even if the upper levels cool. Last time they were below 70 F was the morning of May 23rd, so it's been almost 5 months now.

GFS now keeps them above 70 Sunday and Monday. Crazy. Thats their chance. Not sure when next one is
I agree with LJK1988. Because of that stubborn subtropical ridge over the southeastern United States, I wouldn’t bank on a low temperature below 70 F for Orlando before Sometime around the last week of October if not perhaps not even until around Halloween or even early November.
I have had two mornings in the 60's. That was last weekend. Never saw a Oct this warm and every Oct i say the same thing the last 7 years. It just keeps getting hotter and hotter. If you guys don't think run away heating is taking place at a ever more faster pace then i don't know what to say.
I say within 30 years FL will see 90's year round and maybe a day or two in the 70's for highs. I have never seen such a rapid warm up like the last 7 years. Our summer temps have been about the same but fall thru Spring has seen a huge change.
A series of cold fronts are on the move. I'd say within days.
