So then what I said was correct. Snow melts within a day or two, then it snows again at another time which also stays on the ground for 1 or 2 days. That is so typical for the PNW.

Pretty much though it will stick longer if you are a bit higher elevation as expected.

I mean like in on top of hills and such. Here in Olympia at least I’ve seen snow at higher points but it’s all melted lower or just rain. Either way it doesn’t stick around very long.

Both have their pros and cons. I prefer the Tucson summers but I also like a >0% chance of snow, which Vancouver offers. I don't mind rain but I'm not a PNW rain style person. Tucson wins for me.

I think this fellow has a preference for cloudier weather -will take a cloudy summer over a sunny one.

Not sure that I can answer this one, as both climates have about equal positives and negatives -will need time to think this one over.

I love sunshine, mild temps, low wind, & low humidity...so Tucson wins this quite handily due to much greater sun hours and low humidity. Vancouver has milder temps so that is the biggest plus for Vancouver.

For your information Joe:

He gives crazy Mongolian climates A because they're sunny even though they're ridiculously cold and gives cloudy climates F...

That's what confuses me with his choice of Vancouver

Tucson is one of the milder climates of Arizona due to elevation and the monsoon season bringing down temps but not seriously affecting sunshine hours.

I would get severely depressed in Vancouver with that cloud cover and rain for 6-9 months. Summer would be nice in Vancouver though but Tucson gets Vancouver summer like weather for longer (in its winter).

Tucson for me.

No I don't, I like sunny weather, like Vancouver summers which are sunny and delightful
