Nice they did this. Check out what they forecasted Friday then Saturday morning and what actually fell. Wow at DC!

I have measurements from several people I know in Columbia and surroundings of 16+ inches. I've also seen some similar numbers reported on a local Missouri weather blog from people who live in that area.

3 days later the landscape still looks like this 25 minutes north of Washington DC. And yet NYC, Hartford, and Boston are brown and bare since November

The problem with just looking at the highest total is that higher elevation spots will usually win especially in areas where there are mountains. So I think we need to use the largest area of snow, rather than sporadic reports here and there.

And with that said... I circled all the reports of a foot or more and it's apparent there were more in MO than Illinois so........... CORRECTION ON THE WINNER.

Region 4 has the most snowfall. This was a close one! Wow.

So Congrats to: 7 Wishes, cjoseph, Mr Bruce, Paoluccm, RadioSilence, Saritra, spencer114

Check out the DC area! I didn't realize 8-12" fell in the area. Wow! They almost won.

Zoomed out. Funny seeing Southern NJ get another snow event. Usually they are the ones to miss it. Just that type of pattern this winter
