Jersey and the rest of the Channel Islands (Guernsey, Sark) are part of the UK. the climate of the islands are similar to the Isle of Wight and the south Coast of the UK.
Technically they're British, but not part of the UK.
Thanks for clearing that up. I do remember though that they used a different currency when I was there - can't remember if they accepted English pounds and notes or not though.
As they are part of the UK they use the pound sterling, like Scotland they do (I think) have their own design of notes though.

The Channel Islands are NOT part of the UK. They are British Crown dependencies & two separate self-governing bailiwicks, the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Bailiwick of Jersey.
It is one of my favourite climates. Sunny and fairly dry with comfortable temperatures pretty much year-round. Nice, dry sunny summers but not too hot. Nice pleasant winters. Mild nights.

My first and only time going there was when I was 8 years old. I went on holiday there for a week. The flight was an hour long. I remember the weather being pleasant and sunny and I don't remember any rain.
Jersey is located in the Channel Islands btw, though I'm not sure if it is part of the U.K. or France as it is actually closer to France than to England.
The weather box for St Helier on Wikipedia does not have the correct temperature averages, if you follow the link to the source someone has "bumped them up". The actual averages in the link are from 1971-2000 too.

OK then! - as they are British they use the pound sterling, I believe they have their own designs on the notes (like Scotland).

Yes I see that too. Someone has made the winter maxes slightly warmer but the summer maxes slightly cooler.
I rate the climate B+. Small diurnal ranges from October to March and spring seasonal lags are major flaws but it has many advantages over other regions in the world.
D, may be between D and C. But D doesn't mean "okay" on my scale...it means bad - just neither really bad (E) nor horrible (F).
C is "okay/mediocre" and B is "good".
(in all schools I went to "B" grade meant "good" and C "mediocre").
Sunniest place in Britain, apparently...
Supposedly has 1,983 hours of yearly sunshine
Not sunny enough and too many rainy days throughout the year, while this is mitigated by mild comfortable temperatures year-round.
