Scientifically speaking these numbers include spring and autumn but it's mostly related to summer so it goes here: number of days above 30°C compared to 1991-2020 normals.

Basically more than normal in the west and east; fewer than normal in central Canada. For Calgary, 17 days above 30 is unreal--that's got to be close to a record.

I wish. You know how this always goes. Like to see it slow down 80 miles to my west and give me rain. All depends on where the center forms. If it is to the north it could be a south FL hit and if the center forms to the south then maybe the panhandle. It all depends on timing of the dig down from the north. A hit from a Cat 3 from the southwest to my house or stronger would mean the end. If it is a super Cat5 with gust over 220mph to the Tampa area it would be the biggest mess ever. Been over 100 years and our number is gonna get pulled for a real storm within 20 years or sooner.

9 out of 10 you will be fine. CAT 2 or less you should be fine. Cat5 with gust over 200 then it's lights out for everyone close to the center.
