The most common first freeze time for the CONUS was late October, especially around Oct 18-19. However, early October, early November, late November and even September and late December (Dec 22-24) were also fairly common. Very few locations experienced their first freeze in early December or in January and beyond.

2 more places the map does not have are Mayo and Brooksville. December 23 for both I think.
Can't wait to see last frost map whenever it will be made
. Some places have dumb March 20-21 last frosts but there are going to be a healthy amount of January and February and even some December last frosts.
