I am actually collecting data for 19 years for many places so far, 2004 to 2022 (because one place I've lived only has a station going back to 2004 so I wanted a fair comparison to how they compare to other climates, and now I've made several dozen 2004-2022 weatherboxes).
For some reason a lot of places in that 19 year period have mild January temps (in North America at least). Calgary's January is the 3rd coldest month overall, Denver's January is also their 3rd coldest month in that time period.
A few others have some thing but I would type what it is but people LOVE to bother me when I am typing this reply for some stupid reason........
