What a great thread

Brisbane is forecast to get to 33oC (91.4F) on Monday, if this eventuates, will be the hottest August day on record, current record goes to 1946 with 32.8oC (91F).

It is Winter in Sydney, Australia now on August 22 right ? It is summer here in Tenn.
Australia`s Winters may be different than here in Tenn. I do not know for sure.

^^ Way different...lol. Below freezing temps are extremely rare in Sydney while the average low in Jackson, TN is 28F in January (-2C).

Yes 28 to 30 ° F is a Normal Lo here in Jackson, Tn for January.
37.0 ° is the Normal Average for All of January here in Jackson, Tn.

Glad to see some more of you joined us. William and I were getting lonely here.

Yesterday was kinda cool and windy and we only hit 70.

AVg. was 84

Record was 102 in 1968

The low was 55

Avg. is 58

Record is 41 in 1920.

My Mom was just a few days old when that record low was set.

Good morning all!!! Kinda chilly here this morning and wind gusts are up to 22 mph and that makes it worse. BUT we're supposed to hit mid 80s today.

Lots of "8's" there.
