Question What state has the worst summer weather?

Which state has the worst summer weather? I think that Kansas has the worst summer weather in the US, how about you? Which do you think has the worst weather?

Texas is not pleasant, but probably not the worst. Sorry, ILNC, I just think there are probably places worse. One person who I met awhile back here on CD lives in Bullhead, Arizona and she said the temps there were often 120s and above. Even if it's a dry heat...that's still preeetttty bad!

I also suspect that I would find Florida's humidity pretty bad as well.

States farther south than Kansas are worse as far as the solar radiation and humidity and the heat lasts most of the year. Florida would be the worst for me and south Texas.

Well I thought it was pretty bad here, until last Saturday when I, on a whim, checked the weather conditions in Ft. Myers, FL. The dew point was in the high 80s and the heat index was 132! I don't know how much money someone would have to pay me in order to live in that, but I can assure you that the number is probably near that of our national debt.

My vote is anything south of lets see I could say the Mason-Dixon line, but Interstate 80 is probably a good match. I don't want to be in any warm state after May 1st.

The AZ and CA desert areas. Even if the humidity is less than 10 percent, when the sun is that powerful, it almost balances it out.
