I'm looking for a few suggestions for a joint bachelor party for myself (27), and my good friend and old roomate (30). We are looking at Feb. of '09 and traveling for a 2-4 day weekend.

He wants Denver, I want Vegas.

Any city suggestions would be great. We will be leaving from Knoxville, TN and will have anywhere between 12-18 guys.

Any suggestions are open and welcomed.

Thanks!

What happens in Vegas , stays in Vegas .

What about Manhattan?

I think I rather go there than Denver. We are going on a ski trip weeks before the bachelor party, and I can only take so much skiing.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Booze a must, girls encouraged, and a decent night life would be great. Something a little on the economical side would be good as well!

Is New Orleans back up and running well enough for something like that?

If you're looking for a wild and crazy time 24/7, then it's Las Vegas you want. It's all the party cities rolled into one. You'll see as soon as you arrive.

I don't need to party 24/7, but I do want to party some. I'm now just considering trying to do something closer to home...that way it's cheaper and more guys could come.

Reno, been to both Vegas and Reno. I like Reno better because its more laid back to me, you don't have to be a high roller there to get some extras and have some fun. And Lake Tahoe is a short distance away also.

If you're looking for something cheaper and closer to home, Atlanta would be a good place to go. There are some fun places to hang out such as Little Five Points and Underground Atlanta among others that you and your buddies could do some partying.
