Hi,

I may have to drive down to FL in Jan. with 2 elderly small dogs. Does anyone know of any inexpensive places (under $100/night) that are decent and safe, in the Boca/Deerfield Beach area? I need to feel that when I leave the motel for a few hours, the dogs will be safe. Thansk.

I was in Delray Beach in August, and where I stayed it was pet friendly. But that is the low season, they told me and that is why rates were down. At the beginning of the fall season to winter is their high season and rates will be higher. Where I stayed was pet friendly, but I am so glad I didn't take my dog The room right next to me caught fire. Long story short, I would look into a daycare for the dogs when you come down or search this website for more info: FloridaPets.net - The Web's #1 resource for all that is pet friendly in Florida This website can give you hotel info, pet friendly beaches, daycare, restaurants and everything else. Good Luck

In season which Jan is the prices even on a cheap hotel can double plus you will have pet fees. Depending on length of stay you may want to see if you can find a private owner condo. When I had family come with their dog that is what I found them.
