Have a look at the United Van Line website Moving Companies | Moving Company | United Van Lines - America's Largest Mover (http://www.unitedvanlines.com/PublicApplications/findagent/submit.do - broken link)
I used them several times and are very professional and competitive

Yes go brand name on the move United is good, many private moving companies lure you in with low ball rates and WHAM you arrive and no truck but a big guy in a beat up pick up with a beard and accent tells you it's going to cost you $500 more to get your stuff What do you do now? did you really save any money! Moves are not cheap.

Did you save money with using pods? I get a corporate discount with some of the big name moving companies. I guess I will have to get a quote from Pods as well. Thanks!

I'm relocating to Boca next month from Chicago, and am going to be using PODS. I got the largest size container (8x7x17) and all-in, it's costing under $3000, which includes a month of storage, if needed. No one to haul my boxes and load them up, but I can take as long as I want to do it myself, which is going to be great - plus, I only have to worry about ME breaking stuff, not the movers!

We moved from MA to FL and we did it ourselves - rented a 22' Penske truck with a car trailer on the back. My brother in law rode with me and my wife had the 2 kids in her car. We didn't price moving companies so I can't compare cost, but we had peace of mind knowing where our stuff was....

We have a 4 bedroom house with a den. I think we would need 2 trucks? Thanks for your reply.
