Bank Robbery on Okeechobee Blvd this morning
I drove passed a bank robbery at the Wachovia on Okeechobee and Haverhill this morning on my way to work - probably 5 minutes after it happened. Cops everywhere, somebody was shot, helicopters flying everywhere looking for suspects. Very scary stuff!

It seems that nobody down this way has the balls to actually rob a bank with a gun anymore. Every day, they just walk in casually with their stupid baseball cap on (not even a mask!), pass a note to the teller saying "I'm broke, give me money", and get arrested 30 minutes later. I thought that was the more popular way to rob a bank up there as well, but that up there sounds like a serious heist so I may be wrong! I hope everyone was OK in this robbery! That side of town is kind of questionable.

Weren't there 2 bank robberies in Riveria Beach just last week? Seems like bank robberies are the 'in' thing for some reason.

There's also been an increase in home invasions, especially in the Port St. Lucie area. I think people are just getting desperate.

It sounds like these people just want to go back to jail and get three meals a day and a roof over their head...
