If you like nature, check out the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge and the Green Cay Wetlands, two of my favorite places to shoot wildlife and landscape photos. The Morikami offers "Sushi and Stroll" tours of the gardens in the evenings for a limited time through September. You may want to check that out, too.

If you will be in town by June 20th, check out the Surfin Snook Summer Jam at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater in West Boca. Live blues, food&drink, vendors, and fishing/surfing demonstrations. Beautiful venue, great cause (proceeds to habitat protection). More info at The Snook Foundation, or email me directly at brett@snookfoundation.org.

Default Boat and Jet Ski Rental

You can rent a boat or a jet ski from the Riviera Beach Marina. The Marina is located at 200 East 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404. Call (561) 840-7470 or email bluewaterpb@gmail.com for reservations and directions. The jet skis and boats are rented from the intracoastal waterway but you can take the boats out into the ocean. The Lake Worth Inlet is directly across from the Riviera Beach Marina, on the other east side of Peanut Island. Peanut Island is a hot spot for boaters and jet skis every day in the summer and almost every weekend throughout the year. They have barbeque areas, restrooms, camping, beach all the way around the island, as well as snorkeling reefs. As far as boating in Palm Beach county goes, this is the place you want to be.

Are the prices on jet ski rentals reasonable? I rented jet skis once in Destin for what I considered to be a reasonable price. However, a lot of other places seem to think $75 or more per hour is reasonable, when i really don't think it is.

It depends on how far you want to drive to be honest.I don't know where you are staying, but there are plenty of things to do in the county....Dreher Park Zoo(if you have kids they will love it),Morikami Museum,Flagler Museum,Lion Country Safari(good for kids),Norton Museum of Art,the beaches( I like the Jupiter beaches, they are a bit quieter and less crowded)
PBC has tons of great restaurants as well. You should definately try a seafood restaurant on the water to really appreciate South Florida...Waterway,Panama Hattie's and Jupiter Crab House are all good ones.Oh and if you like reggae, make sure you stop by Waterway on sunday afternoons for a fun reggae time!
