Is it just me or is WV a sinking ship that everyone just needs to flee in order to have a better life? I'm starting to see how much of a joke WV is. I kind of already knew but now I REALLY know and now it's just becoming funny. Glad i'm leaving this state soon, i'm tired of being in a really bad state. No wonder people make fun of this state, it's the worst in the USA. It's starting to be funny how bad it is, but it's also sad...sad that this state is the way it is, I have yet to ever find one good thing about living in WV and that is just sad.

Its really SWV, and especially Huntington, that gives WV this reputation. In NCWV and EP things are better.
Why is that surprising? Fattening food is cheap, and those seven states are the lowest on the poverty scale. Probably the lowest on the educational scale as well. (Eating dumb is also fattening.)

People certainly need to get out of southern WV. It's an economic failure, a health failure, and an utter environmental disaster. Not only are people fat and eating garbage because it's all that's available, they're also exposed to polluted water and air thanks to the giant mess coal companies have made of the region, which has resulted in high cancer rates and increased birth defects.

I never understood why southern WVians uncle tom for the coal industry. It has only hurt them yet they mindlessly support it.
