I wonder why they would pull out? They seemed so determined to locate in Inwood. Perhaps some issues with the planning commission? Just a guess.

All of Inwood will be LIVID when this is officially announced. I can imagine the Facebook comments already...

Just because some random guy posts that they pulled out doesn't mean they actually pulled out.
Let's see if we get some official confirmation.

My point exactly, just reworded. I was speaking hypothetically.

As of 6/24, the project is still a go according to county planning commission documents. It is possible, however that the database has not been updated perhaps intentionally until official word comes out.

Well I know for a fact that they pulled out so unless they build elsewhere they will not be going where it was to be built. My inside source is the people who actually own the land.

I would assume because there's already one in Martinsburg, Winchester, and Charles Town

And Falling Waters (used to live near this one, always an interesting place after 1AM).

But you would think they wouldn't have bothered going to all of this trouble since they know what other stores they already had. But who knows, I always thought it was weird they were looking at Inwood with Martinsburg just a short drive up the road.
