10/5-8 WV Poll: Obama 50% - McCain 42%
Link
Yeah...I don't buy it. Interesting nonetheless. Maybe some more polling groups will come through and poll the state.

I don't know. I was really surprised by the amount of people who opened up to the idea of Obama as president. I know I certainly didn't expect my family would go for it but all but one on my dads side are for him. I don't really know. I think we'll have to wait until election day to really see.

I can't believe this. Being from "next door" in Kentucky, I couldn't believe all of the horrible things his supporters said about the people in both states when they did not go for him in the primary. How in the world is West Virginia leaning Obama?

Well...I ignore the supporters...and I assume most rational voters do, too. My guess is that the economy is being blamed on the GOP and WV voters' want a change. Who knows if this is even legit, too. It could just be (one hell of) an outlier.

I'd like to be polled to see what the questions are.
I got polled one time about how much I liked the President (and I liked the President) - the only problem was that the questions were worded in such a way that the only answers you could honestly give made it sound like you did not like the President.
This is a gross exaggeration of an example but conveys the spirit of the poll questions:
Do you agree with the President's decision to remain in the war and kill babies?

Click through the link - it shows you what the question was. It seemed reasonable, I suppose.

God bless America and God help us all.

I predict that All the dead voters in this years election will vote for Obama...I hear that he is sending the money after all..
Shady Grove Precint is reported to have carried Obama with a landslide..and some of the residents will need some ground cover after it's all over...
Glad I voted for Thompson...was the right choice....
